What is included in the price?
The tree, planting, and new soil. We mix our composted soil into each hole, put a layer of topsoil on top, and finish with natural mulch to hold moisture. The price per tree covers all of it.
How many trees do I need?
For trees 5 to 9 feet tall we space them 4 to 6 feet apart. Closer gives you a thicker screen, wider costs less. Bigger trees need more room because the root ball is bigger. A 60 foot property line is usually about 10 to 15 trees, and you pick how solid you want it.
Do the trees come with a warranty?
Yes. Every tree has a 1 year warranty. If a tree dies from natural causes in the first year, it is covered. Deer damage is not.
Are Green Giants deer resistant?
Usually, yes. About 80% of the time deer leave Green Giants alone, but in some yards they do eat them. If you have a lot of deer, tell us and we will plan around it.
How tall can I go?
Green Giants go up to 11 to 12 feet and Leyland Cypress up to 12 to 14 feet from our list. Want something taller, or a different tree? Ask us for a price.
